The treasured thumb is found! Hopefully, Zeke will ditch the thumb habit before we have to resort to mitted pj's and hot sauce. Yes that really happened to me.

Sweet Tater

Let the culinary adventures begin! While Zeke wasn't sporting his official chef coat complete with embroidered name courtesy of FNS, he definitely helped cook up an awesome supper. And I'll let you decide where the biggest sweet tater is...Hint: It's not getting cut up into a stainless steel bowl. 

Splish Splash

Bath time was not very relaxing on take 1. We've had some better runs, but this first try was nothing shy of an unmitigated disaster (Daniel, 2011). 

At least the monkey towel made life a little peachier. Thanks Auntie Sarah!

Still Praying

Zeke proved to be very pious Sunday. You see he is still praying Sunday evening after making his first church service at 8:30 a.m. (no mistake--A.M. and we need not waste any more batteries for alarm clocks. Zeke has that taken care of.) After church, we visited one of Daddy's favorite stores, Dicks Sporting Goods. We collected some camping gear to make sure we are ready for Y3K (just kidding Brad). Since then we've also checked out Lowes, another of Daddy's favorites.

Saturday in the Park

Let's face it. This probably did not occur on a Saturday, but all sense of time still remains lost at this point. Visiting the Common was our first major outing (and it was major mind you).

First Doctor Visit

We went to see Dr. Nesbit to get checked out...hooray for a clean bill of health! Zeke weighed in at 8 pounds and 1/2 ounce--almost back up to birth weight. Afterwards, Zeke and Mommy crashed while Daddy picked up some laundry detergent. Who knew there would be so many wardrobe changes?! 

The Journey Home

After we graduated from new parents class, we were allowed to take Zeke home. He rocked the tattooed Mom shirt until we got ready to leave. Then he suited up in his dapper sailor attire.
