Cool Dude Gets Food

There has been no consumption of food yet, but we have officially been grocery shopping!! He is slated to consume "rice and fruit" soon. We had a little mix-up after the pediatrician cleared Zeke for rice and fruit...I caught Daddy Brad letting Zeke lick a fresh cut pineapple. At least we weren't at the Mexican restaurant. Who knows what could've happened there!?

Shopping trip...
why yes that is whole grain and organic...thanks Earth's Best!

And it's 1...2...3 Months Then 4

Forgive the Take Me Out To The Ballgame bit, but we've been watching lots of baseball. The regular Braves plus homerun derby, all star game, Japan leagues, etc etc. Just kidding about Japan, but who knew there was so much baseball to be watched.

More importantly, Zeke turned big 4 today!! He again humored me with his attire and allowed me to dress him in his tiny rocker wear.

Don't be fooled though he's as sweet as ever...no tough guy act here!

Kisses even for the monkey

Giggling at the Globe

By popular demand (and by popular I mean Grammy), here's live footage of Zeke flying and laughing.

Drinking (Milk) at the Globe

On Zeke's inaugural trip to Athens, we visited the Globe for lunch to bring in a new decade for Uncle Daniel. We sat on the sidewalk and took in lovely Athens. Happy Birthday to Daniel, Great Grandma, and the USA!

Zeke might not look like he loves Athens, but he does...who doesn't??

Tomahawkin' on the 4th!

Arriving at Turner Field for the first Braves game celebrating the 4th of July!

Trying to snag a ball with Daddy during batting practice

We made it to the final out in the ninth sitting in the rain, but we missed Atlanta's best firework show. Sad day. Zeke held the umbrella on the way back to the van, that's right, no mistake, van.

Looks like small-fry needs some smaller Fryes

Zeke's Baptism & Reception

Zeke's very special outfit made by Grammy and hat by Nana. To Brad, Daniel, and David, there is a bowtie so yes it's manly.

The Ina Garten inspired menu..."How easy was that?" ;) Thanks for the yummy ideas, Ina!

In case you didn't get enough cuteness at the reception, some photos for the road will keep you company.

Zeke ready for a nap

"The Lord Is My Shepherd" cupcakes...mmmm!

Flying with Uncle Daniel after party

Enjoying fellowship and food at the new bake shop!!

Some family minus those on last minute lunch errands :)
Thank you to all the family and friends supporting us as we raise Zeke not as our own child but as a covenant child of the King and promise to always point him toward Christ.
